How to write a journal !!!

Find something suitable to write on. Whatever you have on hand is fine. Or you might like to shop for something that makes you feel good about writing inside the pages. Decide what you are going to write with. Just make sure the implement feels comfortable in your hand. Of course, if you prefer, or need to, use a word processor, typewriter, or similar instead.
Choose a time of day to write when you won’t be interrupted by others. This can prove a very difficult task. Make some time in your day of being alone to write in your journal. Make sure you have a comfortable place to write. You may enjoy the privacy of your own room for writing, or a busy cafe. Sitting in the same place to write can help you get into the right frame of mind for journal writing.
Date your entry. This may seem a real drag, but this is the only real rule when it comes to keeping a journal. You’ll be amazed just how useful having each entry dated can be.

Start writing. Just write whatever comes to your mind. Your focus questions should be on: 1. What have you learnt from doing this, name four things? 2. What would you change if you were able to do it again? 3. Have you encountered any issues? 4. What was your treasure in the final piece of assessment? 5. Have you continued with your journal?

Be creative. Try different techniques, such as lists, collage, drawing, other visual styles, or whatever takes your fancy. Your journal is a place to express your thoughts and emotions. Forget the rules and what others expect. Play with ideas and use your journal for your own benefit.

Stop writing, expressing, or creating at some point. Decide on a time or page limit, when your materials run out or just when you feel you’ve written all that is on your mind.

Reread what you’ve written, if you can. Either read it directly after making the entry or set aside a time to read your past entries. There is much to gain from rereading your journal entries.

Make a commitment, to gain some benefit in writing a single entry, but the greater benefits remains in making a habit of writing in your journal.

(stylized as easy A) is a 2010 teen comedy film written by Bert V. Royal, directed by Will Gluck, and starring Emma Stone. The screenplay was partially inspired by the novel The Scarlet Letter. The film was shot at Screen Gems studios and in Ojai, California. Screen Gems distributed with a release on September 17, 2010. It was released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc December 21, 2010.[3][4][5][6]

The film was a box office success and received critical acclaim, particularly for Emma Stone's performance.
Plot

Olive Penderghast (Emma Stone) lies to her best friend Rhiannon (Alyson Michalka) about going on a date in order to get out of camping with Rhi's hippie parents. Instead, she hangs around the house all weekend. The following Monday, pressed by Rhiannon, Olive lies about losing her virginity to a college guy. Marianne (Amanda Bynes), a strictly religious girl at their school, overhears her telling the lie and soon it spreads like wildfire. The school's conservative church group run by Marianne decides Olive will be their next project.

Olive confides in her friend Brandon (Dan Byrd) about the truth, and he explains how others bully him because he's gay. Brandon later asks Olive to pretend to sleep with him so that he will be accepted by everyone. Brandon convinces Olive and they pretend to have sex at a party.

After having a fight with Rhiannon over Olive's new identity as a "dirty skank", Olive decides to counteract the harassment by embracing her new image as the school tramp. She begins to wear more provocative clothing and stitches a red 'A' (a la Hester Prynne in The Scarlet Letter) to everything she wears. Boys who usually have had no luck with girls in the past begin to give her money to say they have had sex with her in order to increase their own popularity, which in turn increases her reputation. Things get worse when Micah, Marianne's 20-year-old boyfriend, contracts chlamydia from sleeping with Mrs. Griffith, the school counselor and blames it all on Olive. Olive agrees to lie to cover up the affair so her favorite teacher's marriage would be spared. Marianne's religious clique (which Rhiannon also joined) begins harassing Olive in order to get her to leave school.

After an ill-fated date with a boy who wants to pay her to sleep with him, Olive reconnects with Todd (Penn Badgley), her old crush, who is also the school's mascot. Todd then tells her that he does not believe the rumors because he remembers when she lied for him when he wasn't ready for his first kiss years ago. Olive then begins to ask everyone she lied for to help her out by telling the truth, but since everyone is enjoying their new popularity they don't want the truth to get out.

After a friendly talk with her eccentric, open-minded mother, Olive comes up with a plan to get everything finally out in the open. She then does a song and dance number at a school pep rally to get people's attention to watch her via web cam, where she confesses what she has done. Later, she texts Rhi, apologizing for lying. When she is finishing up her web cast, Todd comes by riding a lawnmower and tells her to come outside. She goes outside to meet him and the two are shown riding off on the lawnmower.

There is Something ‘Bout David

We spoke to David Archuleta over the phone recently and he was such a joy to talk to.Not only was the soon-to-be 20-year-old articulate, he was accommodating and inspiring. We know there are a lot of Archie fans out there so here’s a bonus snippet of the interview session we had that did not make it into the magazine:

What were your first thoughts when you heard the idea of a David Archuleta book?
I was definitely thinking huh? I’m only a teenager. Teenagers don’t really write memoirs. Most people do that later in their lives so that was definitely a thing where I was thinking I don’t know if I should do this. But it was a time where I felt like I really could, not necessarily an autobiography or anything like that, it’s a book that because I hope I have more future to live with whatever happens in my life. It’s more about kinda like what I did with the new album, The Other Side Of Down. It was about explaining to people what I hope the future would be like and what I’m trying to accomplish. Hopefully people will get something out of it when they read it, especially kids my age because the teenagers are having a tough time trying to figure out there’s so many ways you can go and take the rest of your life. It’s about motivating people to take chances and go for things and to not let that voice inside of you say you can’t do this. Because I feel a lot of kids miss opportunities because they believe that and it’s like man, if I were to believe that voice and listen to it, I wouldn’t be here. I wouldn’t be where I am right now.

Do you have a celebrity crush?
Not really. Ever since I was little I never really understood that. That doesn’t even make sense because I don’t even know them. How can you even have a crush on someone you haven’t even met? But I don’t know, maybe we’ll see in the future. (Laughs)

What are your plans for your 20th birthday come 28 December?
I don’t know, I guess it’s not like a huge birthday. You are leaving your teen years but not like 21 yet or anything. Every birthday and probably for the rest of my birthdays, I usually will just go and eat dinner with my family or whomever I’m with.

No huge party to usher in your 20s?
No, not really. For the last two or three years I had Thai food for dinner.

Have you considered acting on a musical TV show like Glee? Is that something that interests you?
I’ve kind of wondered about it because I think it would be fun to do. Coz getting into character and playing that part is a different way of telling the story. It’s not exactly your story but it’s cool to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and kind of live another life for a little bit. I think it would be really fun to do more of because all I’ve really done is guest appearances, as myself and I would like to try something a little more challenging.

Before Westlife Mark, Shane Filan and Kian Egan came from the band IOYOU where he had partly written the band's songs, "Everlasting Love" and "Together Girl Forever".

Feehily has spoken to The Boston Globe of his embarrassment about Westlife's Rat Pack album Allow Us to Be Frank and blamed their record company for forcing them to record it after Robbie Williams had success with this type of music but dismissed Westlife's as "a weird time in our career, really".Feehily has sung completely solo on songs for the band in a couple of instances: a song the band wrote called "Imaginary Diva" of World of Our Own album and externally written "Talk Me Down" of Where We Are album. Private life
FamilyMark's parents are Marie Verdon and Oliver Feehily. He has two younger brothers named Barry Feehily (born 1985) and Colin Feehily (born 1989).

Feehily publicly came out as gay in the British tabloid The Sun, and announced his long-term relationship with Kevin McDaid, a member of the British boy band V.In an interview he said, "My life has got umpteen times better. My sexuality doesn't define me as a person, but it's a huge part of anyone to be open about it. It's changed my life totally as I feel so much happier and at ease. It's the best thing I've ever done." Unlike his band mates, for years Feehily did not discuss his private life. His manager Louis Walsh was unaware of Feehily's sexuality when he picked him for the band.

The pair have been dating since January 2005 after having met at a Cheerios Childline Concert in Ireland. In yet another interview, Feehily told The Sydney Morning Herald that despite the fact that the majority of Westlife's fans are female, there had really been no negative reaction. "I am so much happier now and I think our fans can see that," he said. "Through the years of getting to the point where I wanted to come out, I had to go through every kind of emotion, but I can honestly say that the day before I came out, I didn't care what the reaction was going to be. That was the hardest point to get to."

Feehily said that while he did not intend on getting married right away, he is happy to know he could form a civil partnership in Britain with the recent passing of the Civil Partnership Act. They both say that when the time is right, they will look into having a civil partnership ceremony.

In December 2007, Feehily and McDaid appeared on the cover of Attitude. They also did a joint interview. In this interview, Mark stated that he wants to grow old with Kevin, and that the pair believe that they will be together forever.

Mark and Kevin got engaged on 28 January 2010 and Feehily confirmed the news via Twitter.

Shane Filan

Biography
Filan was born on July 5, 1979 to Peter and Mae Filan, and grew up in Sligo, a busy commercial town in the northwest of Ireland. The youngest of seven children, he has three brothers and three sisters: Finbarr, Peter Jr, Yvonne, Liam, Denise and Mairead. His parents owned a diner in Sligo named Carlton Caf'e located on Castle Street and Shane used to work there as a waiter from a very early age.

Filan attended Summerhill College, a Catholic school, with Kian Egan and Mark Feehily. All three of them participated in a school production of Grease when they were about 12. The Hawkswell Theatre became a significant part of their careers. Filan was a fan of Michael Jackson as a child, and claimed the singer inspired him to pursue a career in music.

Musical career
Main article: Westlife
Before Westlife, Egan and Feehily were with Filan in a band known as I.O.U. with other Sligonians Derrick Lacey, Graham Keighron and Michael "Miggles" Garrett. He partly wrote the IOYOU's song Together Girl Forever. For 6 months, Shane's mum, Mae Filan, tried to phone Louis Walsh (who is also the manager of Boyzone). Eventually, she was able to speak to him and talked about her son's band. 3 of them were dropped and the other 3, Shane, Kian and Mark, joined ventures to finding 2 more slots for the band. Then they were joined by Nicky Byrne and Brian McFadden to form Westside. The name of the band then changed to Westlife as there were already a number of bands with the name Westside.

Filan, along with Mark Feehily, is the main lead singer (first voice) in Westlife. Their first album was released in November, 1999, titled Westlife. With Westlife, Filan has received twenty-eight platinum discs and sold 40 million records worldwide.

In the week beginning 26 April 2010, an unreleased solo song by Filan called "Beautiful In White" leaked onto the Internet, but it was credited as being recorded by Shayne Ward instead of Filan.

He also participated and won with a team on Soccer Aid 2010. Following in the footsteps of his bandmate, Kian, Filan appeared as Walsh's guest judge in the groups category of The X Factor.

Personal lifeFilan married his childhood sweetheart, Gillian on Sunday December 28, 2003 at Ballintubber Abbey, followed by a reception at Ashford Castle, Ireland. Gillian gave birth to their first child, a daughter, Nicole Rose, at Sligo General Hospital on 23 July 2005. Their second child, a son, Patrick Michael, was born at Sligo General Hospital on September 15, 2008. On 5 July 2009 (the day of his 30th birthday) Shane announced in 2009 that he and Gillian were having their third child. Shane Peter Filan, named after his boyband father, was born at 9.34pm on Friday January 22, 2010 weighing in at 6 lbs 9oz.

Shane likes to play golf in his spare time, but loves horses much more. He and his family own more than 70 of them, and used to compete at horse tournaments. All of Shane's horses are named Carlton something (e.g. Carlton Flight, Carlton Clover Association of Ireland). A massive Manchester United fan, Filan and bandmate Nicky Byrne proudly wore their Man Utd scarfs as they were half time guests at Old Trafford for the game between United and Bolton Wanderers.

Shane won the 2010 Soccer Aid, a British charity football match with the Rest of the World team.

He and his eldest brother, Finbarr, have a company called Shafin Developments Ltd. They are hoping to expand its portfolio with the proposed construction of 63 luxury apartments at the rear of Lisroyan House, Knappagh Road, Sligo.

Westlife

Westlife are an Irish pop group formed on 3 July 1998. The group's original lineup comprised Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Shane Filan and Brian McFadden (departed from the band in 2004). The group is the only act in British or Irish history to have their first seven singles go straight to Number 1, and they have gone on to sell over 44 million records worldwide which includes their studio, single, video, and compilation albums.Despite the group's worldwide success, they've only had one U.S. hit on the Billboard Hot 100 charts: "Swear It Again", which made it to #20 in 2000.

Westlife were originally signed by Simon Cowell and are currently managed by Louis Walsh. They garnered 14 number one singles in the United Kingdom, the third-highest in UK history, tying with Cliff Richard and trailing behind only Elvis Presley and The Beatles. The group has also broken a few top records, including "Music artist with most consecutive number 1's in the UK". It was officially announced by the Official Charts Company that they are the "2nd biggest selling artist" (trailing behind Robbie Williams) and "Biggest selling band of the decade" (beating Coldplay) in UK with 11 million album sales.

On 1 June 2008, Westlife marked their 10th anniversary with a concert in Croke Park, Dublin which saw more than 83,000 fans attending the special occasion. Music Week revealed on their website that Westlife is the official third top touring act within the years 2005–2008, while they were 7th top touring act of 2008. Also in 2008, they were declared as Ireland's ninth-richest celebrities under 30 years old and 13th in general with 36 million euros as a group. In 2009, they dropped as 16th richest Irish with estimated 8 million euros each.

I really liked how Elliott Yamin had a more soulful vibe to him and I can remember you know, like he'd sing… He sang I Don't Wanna Be by Gavin DeGraw and he just gave a lot of soul into that, I just thought that was really cool. es una serie de televisión producida por Alba Adriática (filial de la productora Miramón Mendi) para la cadena española Telecinco, que la estrenó el 21 de abril de 2007 con buenos registros de audiencia. La adaptación de Aquí no hay quien viva obtuvo en su estreno un 28,8% de share y fue líder en casi todas sus emisiones durante la primera temporada.

El 3 de abril de 2008, Telecinco estrenó la segunda temporada de La que se avecina; con audiencias ligeramente inferiores a la primera temporada, Telecinco decidió retirar la serie momentáneamente durante un mes, después de haber emitido diez capítulos, para programar en su lugar la última temporada de la serie Los Serrano. El 6 de julio del mismo año, Telecinco recuperó la serie en el prime time de los domingos, pero tras la emisión de dos capítulos con registros de audiencia inferiores a la media de la cadena, la serie fue trasladada a la franja del late night, siendo el cambio todo un éxito, pues los datos de audiencia subieron de manera considerable, superando el 24% de cuota de pantalla en sus tres últimos capítulos. (Spanish, 'No One Can Live Here' or, translated more freely, 'This Place is Awful') is a Spanish television comedy focusing on the inhabitants of the fictional building in Desengaño 21, Calle Desengaño being a street between the Districts of Gran Via and Chueca in Madrid. The episodes debuted on the Antena 3 network, and were later rerun by the same network as well as cable/satellite channels Factoría de Ficción and Paramount Comedy. Antena 3 Internacional satellite channel broadcasts the series to Latin America. The series debuted in 2003 and became popular thanks to its funny characters, witty script, and capacity to integrate and poke fun at contemporary issues; the program presents a caustic satire of many of the 'types' found in Spanish society.

In 2006, Antena 3's rival Telecinco acquired a 15% share of Miramón Mendi, the company that produces the series. Miramón's contract with Antena 3 expired on June 2006 and was not renewed, bringing the series to an end, since the actors' contracts bind them to the production company and not to the network. Miramón Mendi then created a new series for Telecinco with most of the same actors and a similar setting, but with brand-new characters and storyline. La que se avecina débuted 22 April 2007.

A diary is a record (originally in handwritten format) with discrete entries arranged by date reporting on what has happened over the course of a day or other period. Diaries undertaken for institutional purposes play a role in many aspects of human civilization, including government records (e.g., Hansard), business ledgers and military records.

Generally the term is today employed for personal diaries, in which the writer may detail more personal information and normally intended to remain private or to have a limited circulation amongst friends or relatives. The writer may also describe recent events in his/her personal diary. The word "journal" may be sometimes used for "diary," but generally one writes daily in a diary, whereas journal-writing can be less frequent.

Whilst a diary may provide information for a memoir, autobiography or biography, it is generally written not with the intention of being published as it stands, but for the author's own use. In recent years however there is internal evidence in some diaries (e.g., those of Ned Rorem, Alan Clark, Tony Benn or Simon Gray) that they are written with eventual publication in mind, with the intention of self-vindication (pre- or posthumous) or simply for profit.

Diaries are highly varied, from business notations, to listings of weather and daily personal events, to inner explorations of the human psyche, to expressions of one's deepest self, to records of thoughts and ideas.

By extension the term diary is also used to mean a printed publication of a written diary; and may also refer to other terms of journal including electronic formats (e.g., blogs).

History
The word diary comes from the Latin diarium ("daily allowance," from dies "day"), found more often in the plural form diaria. The word journal comes from the same root (diurnus "of the day") through Old French jurnal (modern French for day is jour).

Until around the turn of the 20th century, with the worldwide rise of literacy, diary writing was generally a practice of the members of the middle and upper classes.

The oldest extant diaries come from Middle Eastern and East Asian cultures, although the even earlier work To Myself (Τὰ εἰς ἑαυτόν), written in Greek by the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius in the second half of the 2nd century AD, already displays many characteristics of a diary. Pillowbooks of Japanese court ladies and Asian travel journals offer some aspects of this genre of writing, although they rarely consist exclusively of diurnal records. The scholar Li Ao (9th century AD), for example, kept a diary of his journey through southern China.

In the medieval Near East, Arabic diaries were written from before the 10th century. The earliest surviving diary of this era which most resembles the modern diary was that of Ibn Banna in the 11th century. His diary is the earliest known to be arranged in order of date (ta'rikh in Arabic), very much like modern diaries.[1]

The precursors of the diary in the modern sense include daily notes of medieval mystics, concerned mostly with inward emotions and outward events perceived as spiritually important (e.g. Elizabeth of Schönau, Agnes Blannbekin, Margarite Ebner, (and perhaps also in the lost vernacular account of her visions by Beatrice of Nazareth).

From the Renaissance on, some individuals wanted not only to record events, as in medieval chronicles and itineraries, but also to put down their own opinions and express their hopes and fears, without any intention to publish these notes. One of the early preserved examples is the anonymous Journal d'un bourgeois de Paris that covers the years 1405-1449 giving subjective commentaries on the current events. Famous 14th- to 16th-century Renaissance examples, which appeared much later as books, were the diaries by the Florentines Buonaccorso Pitti and Gregorio Dati and the Venetian Marino Sanuto the Younger. Here we find records of even less important everyday occurrences with much reflection, emotional experience and personal impressions.

Samuel PepysMany diaries of notable figures have been published and form an important element of autobiographical literature.

Samuel Pepys (1633-1703) is the earliest diarist who is well-known today; his diaries, preserved in Magdalene College, Cambridge, were first transcribed and published in 1825. Pepys was amongst the first who took the diary beyond mere business transaction notation, into the realm of the personal. Pepys' contemporary John Evelyn also kept a notable diary, and their works are among the most important primary sources for the English Restoration period, and consist of eyewitness accounts of many great events, such as the Great Plague of London, and the Great Fire of London.

The practice of posthumous publication of diaries of literary and other notables began in the 19th century. As examples, the Grasmere Journa of Dorothy Wordsworth (1771-1855) was published in 1897; the Journals of Fanny Burney (1752-1840) were published in 1889; the diaries of Henry Crabb Robinson (1776-1867) were published in 1869.

Among important U.S. Civil War diaries are those of George Templeton Strong, a New York lawyer, and Mary Chesnut, the wife of a Confederate officer. The diary of Jemima Condict, living in the area of what is now West Orange, New Jersey, includes local observations of the American Revolutionary War.

Since the 19th century the publication of diaries by their authors has become commonplace – notably amongst politicians seeking justification but also amongst artists and litterateurs of all descriptions. Amongst late 20th century British published political diaries, those of Richard Crossman, Tony Benn and Alan Clark are representative, the latter being more indiscreet in the tradition of the diaries of Chips Channon. In Britain in the field of the arts notable diaries were published by James Lees-Milne, Roy Strong and Peter Hall.

One of the most famous modern diaries, widely read and translated, is the posthumously published The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank, who wrote it whilst in hiding during the German occupation of Amsterdam in the 1940s. Otto Frank edited his daughter's diary and arranged for its publication after the War.

The writing of diaries was also often practised from the 20th century onwards as a conscious act of self-exploration (of greater or lesser sincerity) – examples being the diaries of Carl Jung, Aleister Crowley and Anaïs Nin.[2] Among important diaries by 20th-century literary figures are those of Franz Kafka and Edmund Wilson.

A strong psychological effect may arise from having an audience for one's self-expression, even if this is the book one writes in, only read by oneself - particularly in adversity. Anne Frank went so far as to name her diary "Kitty." Friedrich Kellner, a court official in Nazi Germany, thought of his diary as a weapon for any future fight against tyrants and terrorism, and named it "Mein Widerstand," "My Opposition." Victor Klemperer was similarly concerned with recording for the future the tyrannies and hypocrisies of Nazi Germany and of its East German successor state in his diaries. In none of these cases however did the authors anticipate early — or indeed any — publication.

Journal writing software
While some people use standard word processing software to keep electronic journals or diaries there are computer programs that are designed specifically for journal writing. Many have templates for daily, weekly, monthly or random entries. These programs have been designed to allow journal and diary writers to capture their thoughts as well as images, links or other notable information easily and in one location. All such software is, of course, an aid in the keeping of a journal or diary and not the actual creation of it. A number of these programs offer the ability to post journal entries to Blogs. Some organizer software (e.g. Outlook and GoBinder) has the ability to make diary entries.

Internet diaries

As internet access became commonly available, many people adopted it as another medium in which to chronicle their lives with the added dimension of an audience. The first online diary is thought to be Claudio Pinhanez's "Open Diary," published at the MIT Media Lab website from 14 November 1994 until 1996.Other early online diarists include Justin Hall, who began eleven years of personal online diary-writing in 1994,Carolyn Burke, who started publishing "Carolyn's Diary" on 3 January 1995, and Bryon Sutherland, who announced his diary The Semi-Existence of Bryon in a USENET newsgroup on 19 April 1995.

Web-based services such as Open Diary (started in October, 1998) and LiveJournal (January, 1999) soon appeared to streamline and automate online publishing, but growth in personal storytelling came with the emergence of blogs. While the format first focused on external links and topical commentary, widespread blogging tools were quickly used to create web journals. Recent advances have also been made to enable the privacy of internet diary entries. For example, some diary software now stores entries in encrypted format, such 256-bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption, and others only permit access to the diary after correct PIN entry on a secure USB device.

One of the earliest printed fictional diaries was the humorous Diary of a Nobody by George Grossmith and his brother Weedon. 20th century examples include radio broadcasts (e.g. Mrs. Dale's Diary) and published books (e.g. the Diaries of Adrian Mole). Both prompted long-running satirical features in the magazine Private Eye: the former entitled Mrs Wilson's Diary in reference to Mary Wilson, wife of Prime Minister Harold Wilson, the latter entitled "The Secret Diary of John Major Aged 47¾" and written as a pastiche of the Adrian Mole diaries from the perspective of the then Prime Minister John Major.

Wilderness Tips is a book of short stories by Margaret Atwood, published in 1991 by McClelland and Stewart. It was a finalist for the Governor General’s Award. Certain of the stories were previously published in The New Yorker, Saturday Night, Playboy, Harper's and Vogue.[1] (ISBN 0-7710-0819-8).

Several of the stories are fictionalized portrayals of Atwood's contemporaries in Canadian literature. The mysterious poet Selena in "Isis in Darkness" is based on Gwendolyn MacEwen, and the journalist Marcia in "Hack Wednesday" is based on June Callwood. One story, "Uncles", prompted a feud between Atwood and Robert Fulford, who claimed to have been the model for the character Percy Marrow.

Dylan Thomas Sprouse and Cole Mitchell Sprouse (born August 4, 1992) are American actors. They are twins and are collectively referred to as Dylan and Cole Sprouse or the Sprouse Bros. Their first prominent major theatrical film role was in Big Daddy, where they starred alongside Adam Sandler. They later appeared in several television sitcoms and starred in the straight-to-DVD family films, I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus and Just for Kicks.

In 2005, they became international household names by starring in the Disney Channel sitcom The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. As a result of series' success, they have become "heartthrobs" and "overwhelming draws"among preteen and teen audiences. In 2006, the brothers launched a franchise known as the "Sprouse Bros" brand, which included a clothing line, book series and magazine. The majority of the Sprouse's franchise ended in 2008, except for their clothing line. They have been subsequently described as "arguably the two best-known child stars in recent years" by the media and were one of the wealthiest children alive in 2007.

Early lives
The Sprouses were born in Arezzo, Italy, to American parents Matthew Sprouse and Melanie Wright, who at the time were teaching at an English language school in Tuscany. Dylan, named after poet Dylan Thomas,is 15 minutes older than Cole,who is named for jazz singer and pianist Nat King Cole.The boys moved back to the United States, four months after their birth. They grew up in their parents' native Long Beach, California. Their parents divorced in 1997.

Acting
After a suggestion by their grandmother, Jonine Booth Wright, who was a drama teacher and actress, the Sprouses began acting at the age of six months. The twosome first appeared in a commercial for toilet paper switching on-screen time every few seconds. As with many twin actors, the two have often played the same role, allowing more time for the character to be filmed. At eight months old, the two appeared on the ABC-TV series Grace Under Fire from 1993 to 1998, playing one character, Patrick Kelly.

In folklore, fiction, philosophy, and popular culture, a ghost is the soul or spirit of a deceased person, taken to be capable of appearing in visible form or otherwise manifesting itself to the living. Descriptions of the apparition of ghosts vary widely: The mode of manifestation can range from an invisible presence to translucent or wispy shapes, to realistic, life-like visions. The deliberate attempt to contact the spirit of a deceased person is known as necromancy, or in spiritism as a séance.

The belief in manifestations of the spirits of the dead is widespread, dating back to animism or ancestor worship in pre-literate cultures. Certain religious practices—funeral rites, exorcisms, and some practices of spiritualism and ritual magic—are specifically designed to appease the spirits of the dead. Ghosts are generally described as solitary essences which haunt particular locations, objects, or people with which they were associated in life, though stories of phantom armies, ghost trains, phantom ships, and even ghost animals have also been recounted.

The English word ghost continues Old English gást, from a hypothetical Common Germanic *gaistaz. It is common to West Germanic, but lacking in North and East Germanic (the equivalent word in Gothic is ahma, Old Norse has andi m., önd f.). The pre-Germanic form would have been *ghoisdo-s, apparently from a root denoting "fury, anger" reflected in Old Norse geisa "to rage". The Germanic word is recorded as masculine only, but likely continues a neuter s-stem. The original meaning of the Germanic word would thus have been an animating principle of the mind, in particular capable of excitation and fury (compare óðr). In Germanic paganism, "Germanic Mercury", and the later Odin, was at the same time the conductor of the dead and the "lord of fury" leading the Wild Hunt.

Besides denoting the human spirit or soul, both of the living and the deceased, the Old English word is used as a synonym of Latin spiritus also in the meaning of "breath, blast" from the earliest (9th century) attestations. "Haint" is a synonym for ghost used in regional English of the southern United States, and the "haint tale" is a common feature of southern oral and literary tradition.The term poltergeist is a German word, literally a "noisy ghost", for a spirit said to manifest itself by invisibly moving and influencing objects.

Wraith is a Scottish dialectal word for "ghost, spectre, apparition". It came to be used in Scottish Romanticist literature, and acquired the more general or figurative sense of "portent, omen". In 18th- to 19th-century Scottish literature, it was also applied to aquatic spirits. The word has no commonly accepted etymology; OED notes "of obscure origin" only. A revenant is a deceased person returning from the dead to haunt the living, either as a disembodied ghost or alternatively as an animated ("undead") corpse. Also related is the concept of a fetch, the visible ghost or spirit of a person yet alive.

A notion of the transcendent, supernatural or numinous, usually involving entities like ghosts, demons or deities, is a cultural universal. In pre-literate folk religions, these beliefs are often summarized under animism and ancestor worship.

In many cultures malignant, restless ghosts are distinguished from the more benign spirits which are the subject of ancestor worship.

Ancestor worship typically involves rites intended to prevent revenants, vengeful spirits of the dead, imagined as starving and envious of the living. Strategies for preventing revenants may either include sacrifice, i.e. the provision of the dead with food and drink in order to pacify them, or the magical banishment of the deceased, preventing them from returning by force. Ritual feeding of the dead is performed in traditions like the Chinese Ghost Festival or the Western All Souls' Day. Magical banishment of the dead is present in many of the world's burial customs. The bodies found in many tumuli (kurgan) had been ritually bound before burial, and the custom of binding the dead persists, for example, in rural Anatolia.

Nineteenth-century anthropologist James Frazer stated in his classic work, The Golden Bough, that souls were seen as the creature within that animated the body.

Biografía
Antonio José Cortés Pantoja, adoptó el nombre artístico de muchos de los miembros de su familia, entre ellos, su tío materno, padre de la también artista Isabel Pantoja, que debutó precisamente en el espectáculo de Antonio Cortés.

Se inicia en el mundo artístico a finales de los años 60, formando parte del conjunto Los Algecireños, hasta que en 1975, tras obtener el Premio Mairena, inicia su carrera en solitario.

Durante unos años continua como cantaor flamenco hasta que a principios de los años ochenta da un giro a su carrera y se adentra en un género de balada romántica con influencia flamenca.

El primer LP de esta etapa, Tú y yo, de 1981, contenía todavía ritmos tradicionales como bulerías, fandangos o soleares. En 1988 lanzaba Sevilla sin tu amor, que contenía uno de sus mayores éxitos: la sevillana A la Puerta de Toledo.

Un año más tarde publica Canalla, con temas compuestos por Juan Pardo, que sin embargo no alcanzó una gran repercusión comercial.

En la década de los noventa llegó a publicar tres LP's, anque su carrera inició un cierto declive, pues no repetiría los éxitos alcanzados en décadas anteriores.

Tras un tiempo retirado, en 2004 publicó Como la marea, bajo la producción musical de su hijo Fran Cortés. Este hijo, junto con el mayor, Antonio, y una hija, Rocío, son los tres habidos en su matrimonio con su primera esposa, la bailaora Amparo Cazalla Mora.

En los últimos años fue objeto de atención de la denominada prensa del corazón, al hacerse públicas sus desavenencias conyugales con su ex-mujer, la colaboradora de Telecinco Raquel Bollo Dorado, con la que tiene dos hijos: Alma y Manuel.

Actualmente comparte su vida con la empresaria María del Carmen Álvarez Gahona.

Lía Soledad Silveyra Urien, más conocida como Soledad Silveyra, o simplemente como "Solita" (n. Buenos Aires, 13 de febrero de 1952) , es una reconocida actriz y presentadora de televisión argentina.

Se inició como actriz muy joven, adolescente, en los años 60. Llamó la atención como revelación en el teleteatro El amor tiene cara de mujer de Nené Cascallar. Participó en 1967 en La cigarra está que arde, su primera película.

En la década del 70 compartió con Claudio García Satur el legendario teleteatro Rolando Rivas, taxista de Alberto Migré. En 1973 sigue el sostenido éxito con Pobre diabla con Arnaldo André y China Zorrilla.

(born March 31, 1972 in Buenos Aires), is a well known Argentine actor. He has participated in more than twenty telenovelas.

Alongside Pablo Echarri, he's considered to be Argentina's top actor and is the highest-paid TV male actor.

He was presented for the big public as the male lead in the fourth season of popular kids show Chiquititas, produced by Cris Morena. The season in which he starred in was the highest-rated in the show seven years run.

After Chiquititas, he was chosen in 99 to star in Muñeca Brava alongside Natalia Oreiro. The novela, aired in Telefe, was a huge hit in Telefe's afternoon and was sold worldwide, with success in over 50 territories. The soap consolidated him as a leading man and as an idol for woman of all ages.

Afterwards, he starred in Ideas de Sur sitcom Buenos Vecinos, which aired in Telefe later in 2000 and starring as Yago in another hugely successful Telefe afternoon soap Yago, Pasión Morena in 2001. He also reprised his role as Alejo for the Chiquititas feature film which was a big box-office hit.

Biography
Facundo Arana was first taken to an acting class by a friend at the age of fifteen. Soon after, Arana was diagnosed with cancer. Facundo Arana spent most of 1989 fighting that disease, he would then be on a medical alert until 1994, when he was finally declared to be free of Hodgkin's disease.

Arana had begun performing small characters in Argentine telenovelas since 1992. At the time, however, his life evolved more around the cancer that he had previously had, and that could have reappeared.

Unknown to many of his fans, Arana is also a musician, having studied saxophone. While he struggled to get important acting jobs at Telefe, he met a street musician and the two became friends, with Arana performing on the Buenos Aires streets for many months. In 1995, Arana finally got a break in his acting career, getting a small character in the national hit Perla Negra (Black Pearl), where he got the chance to act with Andrea Del Boca. In 1996, he acted in another telenovela, named Sueltos (Loose).

His participation in Montaña Rusa, Otra Vuelta (Lets go for Another Round on the Rollercoaster) a teenager-oriented telenovela, paved the way for Arana to be chosen as Alejo in Chiquititas (Tiny Angels). At the same time, he worked with the also well known Argentine actor Gastón Pauls in a play named El Rafa.

Story
The day that Santiago Puerta (Mark Tacher) comes back from Italy, after getting a graduated degree in crime investigation, he is sure his future is brilliant, after getting his dream job in La Fiscalia (Investigation Bureau in Colombia). Finally he will be able to compensate his father, Bernardo Puerta (Carlos Barbosa), the huge effort he had gone into to pay his son's career as a lawyer and then as an expert in crime investigation.

In Italy, Santiago meets Lina Santana (Veronica Orozco), his better half, classmate and then his fiancee, but when he comes back to Colombia he realizes everything is not going to be as easy as he thought.

Santiago has to face Lina's father, Rogelio Santana, who is completely against the idea of his wedding with Lina. On the other hand Santiago finds out that his father is not the same accountant, but the assistant of a dangerous man nicknamed "El Kes" (Luis Fernando Arango), who is the key man in a huge crime organization on the Colombian Caribbean.

Santiago convinces his father to betray "El Kes" so he can be back to legality, but things get complicated when Santiago's father begins a relationship with El Kes' all life lover "La Bandi" (Ana Bolena Meza), after she was badly injured by El Kes.

Now, Santiago's family with La Bandi's family has to disappear and become one family with another life completely different, to join a Witnesses Protection Program. But their hugest fear became true when El Kes escape and now he is looking for them to make them pay for betraying him.

Lo primero, es la sugerencia de cambiar la idea de no tengo buena voz por no sé respirar correctamente. El aire es la materia prima de la fonación.¿Se cansa al leer mucho en alta voz?.¿Su voz es débil?.¿Le sale temblorosa, le falta firmeza?

A lo mejor le falte el aire. La única solución a estas deficiencias está en aprender a respirar correctamente.

La respiración correcta se denomina DIAFRAGMATICA, porque depositando el aire en el abdomen se logra que el músculo diafragma sea el soporte y la catapulta del aire que hará vibrar sus cuerdas vocales.

Aspire profundamente y mida el tiempo que puede leer hasta necesitar aire nuevamente, o, también, prolongue una vocal (Ej. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa … ) y cronometre su duración hasta que se quede sin aire. Probablemente serán 10, 15 o 20 segundos los que duró su aire.

Esto quiere decir que no entró suficiente aire porque no hemos acostumbrado a nuestro reservorio (músculos abdominales y pulmones), a acumularlo.

A esta falta de costumbre o de ejercicio, se debe que cuando aspiramos profundamente en un campo abierto tenemos sensación de ahogo.

Entonces, entrenemos nuestro pecho para la respiración abdominal:

§ Por la nariz, aspire lentamente, cuidando de que el aire que toma empuje los músculos del abdomen. Sienta cómo su estómago tiende a levantarse. Usted no solamente está llenando sus pulmones sino también la cavidad abdominal.

Luego, también lentamente, expela el aire como si estuviera soplando suavemente.

Claro, cuando suelte el aire, su estómago se irá desinflando. Se recomienda hacer esta práctica (con toda seriedad) diez veces en la mañana y diez veces en la noche, durante siete días.

Poco a poco usted se dará cuenta de que su caja toráxica pide o está más dispuesta a recibir mayor cantidad de aire.

Estas respiraciones abdominales deben ser profundas y lentas. Nada ganará con ejercicios bruscos.

Siempre practique en posición de pie, levantando moderadamente la cabeza, soltando los brazos y sin tensiones musculares.

Para hacer las prácticas de respiración siéntase tranquilo y relajado. Cuidado especial: cuando respire, no levante el pecho ni los hombros.

§ En la segunda semana, aspire en la forma indicada (sintiendo como se llena su cavidad abdominal) y, luego de la aspiración profunda, detenga el aire introducido (10 segundos) y luego suéltelo soplando lentamente.

Realice esto diez veces en la mañana y diez, en la noche, durante una semana.

Al principio le puede parecer un poco cansada esta práctica, pero, poco a poco, su organismo se irá acostumbrando a respirar correctamente e irá descubriendo que, efectivamente, sí podía más.

§ Con estos simples ejercicios, usted ya va conociendo la técnica de la respiración abdominal o diafragmática. En la tercera semana ya vamos a aprovechar esa respiración para administrar mejor el aire y transformarlo en sonidos.

Para ello, al expeler el aire, en lugar de soplar lentamente, emitiremos el sonido de la letra u, de manera continua, sin cortar la salida del aire: uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu …

La emisión del sonido debe ser suave, muy débil, para no gastar aire. Se recomienda la letra u porque la posición de los labios para pronunciarla evita que derrochemos aire.

Así empezamos a ejercitar una mejor administración del aire y el control de los múltiples músculos que intervienen en el lenguaje oral. No se preocupe si al principio le sale la letra uuuuuuuuuuu … un poco temblorosa o con variaciones.

Precisamente, eso le demostrará que aún no domina la “salida del aire”, porque, mediante el ejercicio continuo, sonará uniforme y firme. En realidad podríamos comparar nuestra expulsión de aire con una llave de gas o de agua. Podemos regular la salida del agua, abriendo la llave para que salga un chorro fuerte y grande, o cerrándola, para que salga un chorrito débil y delgado, pero uniforme.

Así, nuestros sonidos pueden salir fuertes o débiles, dependiendo de la cantidad de aire que utilicemos en su emisión y de la técnica que utilicemos para fortalecer los músculos correspondientes.

§ A partir de la cuarta semana, y con el mismo ritmo de práctica, realice aspiraciones profundas y emita sonidos con diferentes vocales pero variando la intensidad; es decir, unas veces haciéndolas sonar fuerte y otras muy débiles. Obviamente, cuando produzca sonidos fuertes, el aire se le terminará más rápido; pero, así aprenderá a dominar su salida y a conocer variaciones de modulación.

§ En la quinta semana, entramos a la diferenciación de sonidos nasales: con el mismo aire, en vez de vocales, pronuncie las letras m y n. Para el efecto, aspire profundamente, haga sonar mmmmmmmmmmmm… y nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn…. alternadamente en cada respiración. Ponga especial atención a la repercusión de esos sonidos en toda su cabeza. Sienta como toda ella vibra. Notará que el aire sale por la nariz cuando dice mmmmmm… o nnnnnn… y que resuenan en su cabeza.

Compruébelo tapándose un segundito la nariz. Cada vez, trate de que esos sonidos se escuchen más fuerte.

Luego, mezcle esas consonantes con vocales. Por ejemplo: nnnnnnnnnnnnaaaaaaa … nnnnnnnnnnnneeeeee … (imite un mugido) mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmuuuuuu …. etc.

A estas alturas de la práctica, ya no tiene que respirar diez veces en la mañana y diez en la noche, sino que usted mismo se irá imponiendo un exigente ritmo de práctica, que no lo lleve al agotamiento pero que le ayude a dominar la emisión de sonidos fuertes y débiles.

§ En este momento por su seriedad, constancia y disciplina la, calidad y fuerza de sus sonidos será mucho mejor que hace un mes. Sin embargo, estamos comenzando…

Ya puede tomar más aire y se está fortaleciendo esa membrana llamada diafragma

§ Ahora usted, gracias a su respiración, podrá sentir la diferencia entre lo que es gritar y lo que es hablar alto. Cuando grita, está irritando su garganta y forzando sus cuerdas vocales. En cambio, cuando habla en alta voz, solamente está utilizando mejor su aire y proyectando más el sonido.

Para proyectar o colocar mejor su voz vienen estos ejercicios: procure que el sonido producido por el paso del aire por sus cuerdas vocales, haciéndolas vibrar, choque y resuene en su paladar y salga fuerte, claro y sonoro, hacia afuera

Practique cantando alguna frase musical.

Levante su cabeza para que el sonido pueda salir entero. Imagínese que está enviando su voz a una cierta distancia (por ejemplo a 5 metros) y que debe llegar hasta allá con todo su fuerza y claridad.

Luego, imagínese que su voz debe llegar a 10 metros y procure que llegue directa, nítida y fuerte.

También es bueno alternar variando el volumen; es decir, en otro momento cante muy bajito (piano) como si cantase al oído de una persona. Pero siga sacando su aire correctamente, continúe con la respiración diafragmática y solamente reduzca la intensidad de su expulsión de aire.

Sólo debe variar el volumen. Pero, cantando fuerte o piano, se debe escuchar igual, esté muy cerca o a distancia.

§ Finalmente, otro ejercicio para controlar o administrar la salida de su aire: Tome una vela encendida y cerque sus labios a unos cuatro o tres centímetros de la llama (sin quemarse, por favor) y pronuncie prolongadamente la letra u. El sonido (aire) debe salir muy despacio. La práctica está en no apagar la llama. Desde luego, esto se conseguirá si domina, regula o administra su aire, porque si expele muy fuerte, apagará la llama.

Haga este ejercicio cuantas veces sea necesario hasta que diciendo: uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu… muy cerca de la llama, no la apague.

Otra vez la comparación: así está aprendiendo a controlar la llave de aire.

Insista en todos los ejercicios que hemos visto y alterne pronunciando frases o cantando un poco, una vez suave y otra vez fuerte.

COMO APRENDER TECNICA VOCAL.

Los estudios han probado que quien aprende buenos habitos
en la niñez tiene una experiencia eduacional mucho más enriquecedora y productiva que aquellos no lo lo han hecho. Sabes que esto mismo es aplicable al canto y su educación?

mienras que es importante ejercitarse y trabajar tu voz a menudo, cuando se entrena un material musical o una canción no siempre es tan importante cuantas horas o por cuanto tiempo lo haces sino si tu práctica es o no PRODUCTIVA.

Como medirías tu tiempo de práctica?

Muchos alumnos practican las canciones repitiéndolas completamente una y otra vez. Mientras que notarás alguna mejoría con cada repetición, ésta repetición puede venir en detrimento de tu performance.

Si continuas ejecutando una frase con un error, ese error se convertirá en un hábito o vicio difícil de quitar.

Debido a que nuestros órganos vocales están hechos de muchos músculos y membranas y la mayoría de es "memoria muscular", inducir a la memoria a que continuamente cante una estrofa de una determinada manera puede ser algo difícil de superar.

Aquí tienes algunos consejos:

1. Siempre asegúrate de que has calentado bien tus músculos vocales.

2. Grábate a ti mismo cantando la canción o el ejercicio vocal que quieres aprender. Cántalo tan bien como puedas
en su totalidad (o tanto como tu puedas). Ésta grabación te será de gran utilidad para ver tener un registro y monitoreo
de tu condición actual y en el futuro notarás la diferencias al comparar las distintas grabaciones.

Asegúrate de etiquetar adecuadamente la grabación para tu referencia futura. Un ejemplo podría ser: "02-07-02 (titulo de la canción) - Práctica vocal (primer round)" Organízate desde el comienzo y te ahorrarás mucho tiempo más adelante.

3. Ahora es el momento de separar el material de la canción en varios trozos manejables.

Primero analiza lo que tu consideras la primer estrofa, primera sección o el la "sección del problema" del material. Un análisis consistiría en:

a) Escuchar la grabación.

b) Tomar nota (y crear notas si eres un cantante responsable) de que es lo que te gustaría que sonara mejor o diferente.

4. Una vez que hallas determinado que es lo que deseas que suene diferente en ésta sección, es importante que entiendas cuanto cuesta concretar tu objetivo.

Aquí es en donde la cosa se complica un poco, pero conociendo los secretos puede hacer fácil el reparar las frustraciones vocales, solo con un poco de práctica.

Is an upcoming American police procedural drama that has been ordered to series by CBS. The show will debut in 2011 as a spin-off from the successful Criminal Minds, which premiered in 2005. This edition's profiling team also works for the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) in Quantico, Virginia. In an April 2010 episode of Criminal Minds, the original team met the new team and worked with them to find a San Francisco serial killer as the series' backdoor pilot.

Just like the parent series, CBS will own the underlying North American rights, while ABC owns the international rights.

In early 2009, Michael Ausiello from Entertainment Weekly said that the ABC and CBS studios were discussing the possibility of a spin-off. Studio Producer Ed Bernero confirmed it by disclosing that "it's safe to say there will be something soon." The show will have a completely new cast, except Kirsten Vangsness from Criminal Minds will appear on the show as a series regular, reprising her role as Penelope Garcia. In late 2009, the director has been chosen and the casting has been completed.It was announced that Forest Whitaker would be the star of the spin-off, and was at first approached by casting and later a deal was made. Whitaker's character and his team were introduced in a season 5 episode of Criminal Minds which set the stage for the spin-off.Richard Schiff will have a recurring role as FBI Director Jack Fickler.

Whitaker and his team set the stage for the spin-off in the 18th episode of Criminal Minds' 5th season, entitled "The Fight" which aired on April 7, 2010. This "backdoor pilot" approach is how other CBS hit shows CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles began.

Criminal Minds differs from many procedural dramas by focusing on the criminal rather than the crime itself. In the Quantico script, Jason Gideon was named Jason Donovan.

On May 26, 2010, CBS officially renewed Criminal Minds for a sixth season, which is set to premiere on September 22, 2010 at 9:00 PM EST. A spin-off to the show, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, has also been announced,and is set to premiere mid-season in the 2010–2011 fall schedule.

CBS announced in October 2009 that Legacy Interactive will develop a video game based on the show. The game will require players to examine crime scenes for clues to help solve murder mysteries. The game is scheduled to come out sometime in December.

Initially, the series centers on Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin), Aaron "Hotch" Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) and the rest of the BAU team. Peter Pan is a character created by Scottish novelist and playwright J. M. Barrie (1860–1937). A mischievous boy who can fly and magically refuses to grow up, Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood adventuring on the small island of Neverland as the leader of his gang the Lost Boys, interacting with mermaids, Indians, fairies, and pirates, and from time to time meeting ordinary children from the world outside. Neverland (also spelled Never Land or expanded as Never Never Land) is a fictional world featured in the works of J. M. Barrie and those based on them. It is the dwelling place of Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, the Lost Boys, and others. Although not all people in Neverland cease to age, its best known resident famously refused to grow up, and it is often used as a metaphor for eternal childhood (and childishness), immortality, and escapism.

It was introduced as 'the Never Never Land' in 1904 performances of the theatre play Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up by Scottish writer J. M. Barrie. In his 1911 novelization Peter and Wendy, Barrie referred to 'the Neverland', and its many variations were 'the Neverlands'.In the earliest drafts of Barrie's play, the island was called 'Peter's Never Never Never Land', a name possibly influenced by the contemporary term for outback Australia.In the 1928 published version of the script, it was shortened to 'the Never Land'.

Neverland has been featured prominently in subsequent works, either adapting Barrie's works or expanding upon them. These Neverlands sometimes vary in nature from the original.

Nature of Neverland
The novel explains that the Neverlands are found in the minds of children, and that although each is 'always more or less an island', and they have a family resemblance, they are not the same from one child to the next. For example, John Darling's 'had a lagoon with flamingos flying over it' while his little brother Michael's 'had a flamingo with lagoons flying over it'. The novel further explains that the Neverlands are compact enough that adventures are never far between. It says that a map of a child's mind would resemble a map of Neverland, with no boundaries at all.

According to the authorized 2006 sequel Peter Pan in Scarlet, the island was pushed up from the ground by imagination. The unauthorized 2004 prequel Peter and the Starcatchers presents it as a normal island, named by Peter after the Never Land, the sailing vessel on which he was sent away from civilization.

In Barrie's original tale, Peter led Wendy and her brothers to Neverland by flying 'second to the right, and straight on till morning' for many days, though it is stated in the novel that Peter made up these directions on the spot to impress Wendy, and that they found the island only because it was out looking for them. In the 1953 Disney film, Peter Pan, the word 'star' is added to the directions Peter speaks: 'second star to the right, and straight on till morning.' That phrase is widely quoted, and was used again in the 1991 movie Hook. In Peter Pan in Scarlet, the children get to the Neverland world by flying on a road called the High Way, and the island is located in a sea known as the Sea of One Thousand Islands.

The passage of time in Neverland is ambiguous. The novel Peter Pan mentions that there are many more suns and moons there than in our world, making time difficult to track. Although widely thought of as a place where children don't grow up, Barrie wrote that Lost Boys eventually grew up and have to leave, and fairies there lived typically short lifespans. According to Peter Pan in Scarlet, time froze to the children as soon as they got into Neverland.

Sir James Matthew Barrie, 1st Baronet, OM (9 May 1860 – 19 June 1937) was a Scottish author and dramatist, best remembered today as the creator of Peter Pan. The child of a family of small-town weavers, he was educated in Scotland. He moved to London, where he developed a career as a novelist and playwright. There he met the Llewelyn Davies boys who inspired him in writing about a baby boy who has magical adventures in Kensington Gardens (included in The Little White Bird), then to write Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up, a "fairy play" about this ageless boy and an ordinary girl named Wendy who have adventures in the fantasy setting of Neverland. This play quickly overshadowed his previous work and although he continued to write successfully, it became his best-known work, credited with popularising the name Wendy, which was very uncommon previously.[1] Barrie unofficially adopted the Davies boys following the deaths of their parents. Before his death, he gave the rights to the Peter Pan works to Great Ormond Street Hospital, which continues to benefit from them.

Childhood and adolescence
Barrie was born in Kirriemuir, Angus, to a conservative Calvinist family. His father David Barrie was a modestly successful weaver. His mother, Margaret Ogilvy, had assumed her deceased mother's household responsibilities at the age of 8. Barrie was the ninth child of ten (two of whom died before he was born), all of whom were schooled in at least the three Rs, in preparation for possible professional careers. He was a small child (he only grew to 5 ft 3½ in. according to his 1934 passport), and drew attention to himself with storytelling.

When he was 6 years old, Barrie's next-older brother David (his mother's favourite) died two days before his 14th birthday in an ice-skating accident. This left his mother devastated, and Barrie tried to fill David's place in his mother's attentions, even wearing David's clothes and whistling in the manner that he did. One time Barrie entered her room, and heard her say 'Is that you?' 'I thought it was the dead boy she was speaking to,' wrote Barrie in his biographical account of his mother, Margaret Ogilvy (1896), 'and I said in a little lonely voice, "No, it's no' him, it's just me."' Barrie's mother found comfort in the fact that her dead son would remain a boy forever, never to grow up and leave her. Despite evidence to the contrary, it has been speculated that this trauma induced psychogenic dwarfism, and was responsible for his short stature and apparently asexual adulthood. Eventually Barrie and his mother entertained each other with stories of her brief childhood and books such as Robinson Crusoe and The Pilgrim's Progress.

At the age of 8, Barrie was sent to The Glasgow Academy, in the care of his eldest siblings Alexander and Mary Ann, who taught at the school. When he was 10 he returned home and continued his education at the Forfar Academy. At 13, he left home for Dumfries Academy, again under the watch of Alexander and Mary Ann. He became a voracious reader, and was fond of penny dreadfuls, and the works of Robert Michael Ballantyne and James Fenimore Cooper. At Dumfries he and his friends spent time in the garden of Moat Brae house, playing pirates 'in a sort of Odyssey that was long afterwards to become the play of Peter Pan'. They formed a drama club, producing his first play Bandelero the Bandit, which provoked a minor controversy following a scathing moral denunciation from a clergyman on the school's governing board.

Barrie wished to pursue a career as an author, but was persuaded by his family — who wished him to have a profession such as the ministry — to enroll at the University of Edinburgh, where he wrote drama reviews for a local newspaper. He worked for a year and a half as a staff journalist in Nottingham following a job advertisement found by his sister in a newspaper, then returned to Kirriemuir, using his mother's stories about the town (which he called 'Thrums') for a piece submitted to a paper in London. The editor 'liked that Scotch thing',[4] so Barrie wrote a series of them, which served as the basis for his first novels: Auld Licht Idylls (1888), A Window in Thrums (1890),[7] and The Little Minister (1891). Literary criticism of these early works has been unfavourable, tending to disparage them as sentimental and nostalgic depictions of a parochial Scotland far from the realities of the industrialised nineteenth century, but they were popular enough to establish Barrie as a very successful writer. His two 'Tommy' novels, Sentimental Tommy (1896) and Tommy and Grizel (1900), were about a boy and young man who clings to childish fantasy, with an unhappy ending.

Meanwhile, Barrie's attention turned increasingly to works for the theatre, beginning with a biography about Richard Savage (performed only once, and critically panned). He immediately followed this with Ibsen's Ghost (1891), a parody of Henrik Ibsen's dramas Hedda Gabler and Ghosts (unlicensed in the UK until 1914,[8] it had created a sensation at the time from a single 'club' performance). The production of Barrie's play at Toole's Theatre in London was seen by William Archer, the translator of Ibsen's works into English, who enjoyed the humour of the play and recommended it to others. Barrie also authored Jane Annie, a failed comic opera for Richard D'Oyly Carte (1893), which he begged his friend Arthur Conan Doyle to revise and finish for him. In 1901 and 1902 he had back-to-back successes: Quality Street, about a responsible 'old maid' who poses as her own flirtatious niece to win the attention of a former suitor returned from the war; and The Admirable Crichton, a critically-acclaimed social commentary with elaborate staging, about an aristocratic household shipwrecked on a desert island, in which the butler naturally rises to leadership over his lord and ladies for the duration of their time away from civilization.

The Bloomsbury scenes show the societal constraints of late Victorian middle-class domestic reality, contrasted with Neverland, a world where morality is ambivalent. George Bernard Shaw's description of the play as 'ostensibly a holiday entertainment for children but really a play for grown-up people', suggests deeper social allegories at work in Peter Pan. In 1929 Barrie specified that the copyright of the Peter Pan works should go to the nation's leading children's hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. The current status of the copyright is somewhat complex.

Barrie had a long string of successes on the stage after Peter Pan, many of which discuss social concerns. The Twelve Pound Look shows a wife divorcing a peer and gaining an independent income. Other plays, such as Mary Rose and a subplot in Dear Brutus revisit the image of the ageless child. Later plays included What Every Woman Knows (1908). His final play was The Boy David (1936), which dramatised the Biblical story of King Saul and the young David. Like the role of Peter Pan, that of David was played by a woman, Elisabeth Bergner, for whom Barrie wrote the play.

Barrie used his considerable income to help finance the production of commercially unsuccessful stage productions. Along with a number of other playwrights, he was involved in the 1909 and 1911 attempts to challenge the censorship of the theatre by the Lord Chamberlain.

Acquaintances
Barrie travelled in high literary circles, and in addition to his professional collaborators, he had many famous friends. Novelist George Meredith was an early social patron. He had a long correspondence with fellow Scot Robert Louis Stevenson, who lived in Samoa at the time, but the two never met in person. George Bernard Shaw was for several years his neighbour, and once participated in a Western that Barrie scripted and filmed. H. G. Wells was a friend of many years, and tried to intervene when Barrie's marriage fell apart. Barrie met Thomas Hardy through Hugh Clifford while he was staying in London.

After the First World War Barrie sometimes stayed at Stanway House. He paid for the pavilion at Stanway cricket ground. Barrie founded an amateur cricket team for his friends. Conan Doyle, Wells, and other luminaries such as Jerome K. Jerome, G. K. Chesterton, A. A. Milne, Walter Raleigh, A. E. W. Mason, E. V. Lucas, Maurice Hewlett, E. W. Hornung, P. G. Wodehouse, Owen Seaman, Bernard Partridge, Augustine Birrell, Paul du Chaillu, and the son of Alfred Tennyson played in the team at various times. The team was called the Allahakbarries, under the mistaken belief that 'Allah akbar' meant 'Heaven help us' in Arabic (rather than 'God is great').

Barrie befriended Africa explorer Joseph Thomson and Antarctica explorer Robert Falcon Scott.[9] He was godfather to Scott's son Peter,[4] and was one of the seven people to whom Scott wrote letters in the final hours of his life following his successful – but doomed – expedition to the South Pole.

Barrie's close friend Charles Frohman, who was responsible for producing the debut of Peter Pan in both England and the U.S. and other productions of Barrie's plays, famously declined a lifeboat seat when the RMS Lusitania was sunk by a German U-boat in the North Atlantic, reportedly paraphrasing Peter Pan's famous line from the stage play, 'To die will be an awfully big adventure': "Why fear death? It is the most beautiful adventure in life."

He met and told stories to the young daughters of the Duke of York, who would become Queen Elizabeth II, and Princess Margaret.

Marriage
Barrie became acquainted with actress Mary Ansell in 1891 when he asked his friend Jerome K. Jerome for a pretty actress to play a role in his play Walker, London. The two became friends, and she joined his family in caring for him when he fell very ill in 1893 and 1894. They married in Kirriemuir on 9 July 1894,shortly after Barrie recovered, and Mary retired from the stage; but the relationship was reportedly unconsummated and the couple had no children. The marriage was a small ceremony in his parents' home, in the Scottish tradition. In 1900 Mary found Black Lake Cottage, at Farnham, Surrey which became the couple's 'bolt hole' where Barrie could entertain his cricketing friends and the Llewelyn Davieses. Beginning in mid 1908, Mary had an affair with Gilbert Cannan (an associate of Barrie's in his anti-censorship activities), including a visit together to Black Lake Cottage, known only to the house staff. When Barrie learned of the affair in July 1909, he demanded that she end it, but she refused. To avoid the scandal of divorce, he offered a legal separation if she would agree not to see Cannan any more, but she still refused. Barrie sued for divorce on the grounds of infidelity, which was granted in October 1909.

Is the first feature film by opera director Chen Shi-zheng, starring Liu Ye, Aidan Quinn and Meryl Streep. It won the Alfred P. Sloan Prize at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

Liu Ye plays a young scientist whose rising star must confront the dark forces of politics, ego, and cultural insensitivity. The film is based on true events.

The film is loosely inspired by the true story of Gang Lu, a Chinese physics graduate student who killed four faculty members and one student at the University of Iowa, although it has substantial differences in plot and character motivation. The film stars Liu Xing (Liu Ye) as a humble but brilliant Chinese student who arrives at Valley State University and makes a bumpy transition into American life with the help of Joanna Silver (Meryl Streep), a wealthy university patron who takes a liking to the young student. Xing joins a select cosmology group under the direction of his hero, the famous cosmologist Professor Jacob Reiser (Aidan Quinn). The group is working to create a model of the origins of the universe, based on Reiser's theory. Xing's enormous talent leads him quickly to become Reiser's protégé, and it seems that only hard work stands between him and a bright future in science. But Xing is obsessed with the study of dark matter, an unseen substance that he believes shapes the universe, and a theory that conflicts with the Reiser model. Xing then makes scientific breakthroughs of his own, which "improve" the Reiser theory through temperature, and uses his study as his Doctoral dissertation. However, Reiser, determined to find a flaw in Xing's work as it challenges his own theory, denies the dissertation, thereby not allowing Xing to receive his Ph.D. Reiser than steals the idea of Xing's dissertation, and presents the work as his own, and thereby supporting another Chinese student, Zheng Ming Lei Tsao who arrived at the same time as Liu Xing. Xing, after working small, demeaning jobs, returns to the university as Ming is presenting his dissertation, and, enraged, kills Ming, Reiser, and the two other professors who rejected his dissertation.

Isla Flores

Is one of the Lesser Sunda Islands, an island arc with an estimated area of 14,300 km extending east from the Java island of Indonesia. The population is estimated to be around 1.5 million, and the largest town is Maumere.

Flores is located east of Sumbawa and Komodo and west of Lembata and the Alor Archipelago. To the southeast is Timor. To the south, across the Sumba strait, is Sumba and to the north, beyond the Flores Sea, is Sulawesi.

On December 12, 1992, an earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale occurred, killing 2,500 people near Flores.

Flores is part of the East Nusa Tenggara province. The island is split into eight regencies (local government districts); from west to east these are: Manggarai Barat (West Manggarai), Manggarai Tengah (Central Manggarai), Manggarai Timur (East Manggarai), Ngada, Nagekeo, Ende, Sikka and Flores Timur (East Flores).

The west coast of Flores is one of the few places, aside from the island of Komodo itself, where the Komodo dragon can be found in the wild, and is part of the Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kelimutu National Park is the second national park designated on Flores to protect endangered species. The Flores Giant Rat is also endemic to the Island.

Flores was also a habitat of an extinct dwarf form of the proboscidean Stegodon until approximately 18,000 years ago; it also formerly harbored giant rodents such as Verhoeven's Giant Tree Rat. It is speculated by scientists that limited resources and an absence of advanced predators drove the few species that lived upon the island to dwarfism and gigantism, respectively.
Portuguese traders and missionaries came to Flores in the 16th century, mainly to Larantuka and Sikka. Their influence is still discernible in Sikka's language, culture and religion.

The Dominican order was extremely important in this island, as well as in the neighbouring islands of Timor and Solor. When in 1613 the Dutch attacked the Fortres of Solor, the population of this fort, lead by the Dominicans, moved to the harbor town of Larantuka, on the eastern coast of Flores. This population was mixed, of Portuguese and local islanders descent and Larantuqueiros, Topasses (people that wear heats) or, as Dutch knew them, the 'Black Portuguese' (Swarte Portugueezen).

The Larantuqueiros or Topasses became the dominant sandalwood trading people of the region for the next 200 years. This group used Portuguese as the language for worship, Malay as the language of trade and a mixed dialect as mother tongue. This was observed by William Dampier, a British Brigadier visiting the Island in 1699:

"These [the Topasses] have no Forts, but depend on their Alliance with the Natives: And indeed they are already so mixt, that it is hard to distinguish whether they are Portugueze or Indians. Their Language is Portugueze; and the religion they have, is Romish. They seem in Words to acknowledge the King of Portugal for their Sovereign; yet they will not accept any Officers sent by him. They speak indifferently the Malayan and their own native Languages, as well as Portugueze."

In 1846, Dutch and Portuguese initiated negotiations towards delimiting the territories but these negotiations led to nowhere. In 1851 the new governor of Timor, Solor and Flores, Lima Lopes, faced with an impoverished administration, agreed to sell eastern Flores and the nearby islands to Dutch in return for a payment of 200000 florin. Lima Lopes did so without the consent of Lisbon and was dismissed in disgrace, but his agreement was not rescinded and in 1854 Portugal ceded all its historical claims on Flores.

After this, Flores became part of the territory of Dutch East Indies until the independence of Indonesia, when it became part of this country.

Dawson's Creek

Was an American primetime television drama which aired from January 20, 1998, to May 14, 2003, on The WB Television Network and was produced by Sony Pictures Television. The show was set in the fictional town of Capeside, Massachusetts and in Boston, Massachusetts during the later seasons. Reruns of the show are often seen in Australia on TV1, in Canada on TVtropolis, in Norway on TV3, in Denmark on TV2 Zulu, in the UK on Fiver, in France on TMC, in Greece on Macedonia TV, in India on Zee Café, in Indonesia on TPI and Global TV, in Italy on Italia 1, in Spain on LaOtra, in Lithuania on TV3, in Latin America on Liv, and in the Middle East on MBC4.

Aimed at a teenage audience, the semi-autobiographical show is based on the small-town childhood of its creator Kevin Williamson (who also wrote the slasher film Scream). The lead character, Dawson Leery, mirrors Williamson's interests and background. Filmed in Wilmington and Durham, North Carolina, Southport, North Carolina, the show was set in a small fictional seaside town called Capeside, Massachusetts. It focused on four friends who were in the early part of their sophomore and first year of high school when the series began. The program, part of a new craze for teen-themed movies and television shows in America in the late 1990s, catapulted its leads to stardom and became a defining show for The WB.

Dawson's Creek generated a high amount of publicity before its debut, with several television critics and consumer watchdog groups expressing concerns about its anticipated "racy" plots and dialogue. The controversy even drove one of the original production companies away from the project, but numerous critics praised it for its realism and intelligent dialogue that included allusions to American television icons such as The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. By the end of its run, the show, its crew, and its young cast had been nominated for numerous awards, winning four of them. The series is known for the verbosity and complexity of the dialogue between its teenage characters—who commonly demonstrate vocabulary and cultural awareness that went beyond the scope of the average high school student, yet that is combined with an emotional immaturity and self-absorption reflecting actual teens. This precociousness has been a staple of a number of teenage-themed shows since, notably including One Tree Hill (also filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina), The O.C. and Gossip Girl.

Kevin Williamson, a native of the small coastal town of Oriental, North Carolina, was approached in 1995 by producer Paul Stupin to write a pilot for a television series. Stupin, who as a Fox Network executive had brought Beverly Hills, 90210 to the air, sought out Williamson after having read his script for the slasher film Scream—a knowing, witty work about high school students. Initially offered to Fox, the network turned it down. The WB, however, was eagerly looking for programming to fill its new Tuesday night lineup. Williamson said "I pitched it as Some Kind of Wonderful, meets Pump Up the Volume, meets James at 15, meets My So-Called Life, meets Little House on the Prairie". The show's lead character, Dawson Leery, was based on Williamson himself: obsessed with movies and platonically sharing his bed with the girl down the creek.

The company, however, sold its interest in the show three months before the premiere when printed stories surfaced about the racy dialogue and risqué plot lines. John Kiesewetter, television columnist for The Cincinnati Enquirer wrote: "As much as I want to love the show—the cool kids, charming New England setting, and stunning cinematography—I can't get past the consuming preoccupation with sex, sex, sex". Syndicated columnist John Leo said the show should be called "When Parents Cringe," and went on to write "The first episode contains a good deal of chatter about breasts, genitalia, masturbation, and penis size. Then the title and credits come on and the story begins." Tom Shales, of The Washington Post commented that creator Kevin Williamson was "the most overrated wunderkind in Hollywood" and "what he's brilliant at is pandering." In his defense, Williamson denied this was his intention, stating that "I never set out to make something provocative and racy".

The Parents Television Council proclaimed the show the single worst program of the 1997–1998 season, a title the Council would also award it for the 1998–1999 season. The Council also cited it the fourth worst show in 2000–2001. However, on the opposite end of the ideological spectrum, the National Organization for Women offered an endorsement, deeming it one of the least sexually exploitive shows on the air. For every scathing review there was a glowing one: Variety wrote that it was "an addictive drama with considerable heart...the teenage equivalent of a Woody Allen movie—a kind of 'Deconstructing Puberty'". The Atlanta Journal-Constitution called it "a teen's dream". The Dayton Daily News listed Capeside as a television town they'd most like to live in. The Seattle Times declared it the best show of the 1997–1998 season. The New York Times had perhaps the best headline on its review: "Young, Handsome, and Clueless in Peyton Place". That was precisely the sort of allusion real teenagers weren't likely to get, let alone make, but the show's punchy dialogue was full of them. Dawson calls his mother's co-anchor "Ted Baxter" and refers to his parents as "Rob and Laura Petrie". He responds to his principal's request for a film glorifying the football team as belonging to "the Leni Riefenstahl approach to filmmaking." Jen says her parents followed "the Ho Chi Minh school of parenting." The verbiage was high-flying too: star Michelle Williams confessed in interviews she had to consult her dictionary when she read the scripts.

While never a huge ratings success among the general television population, Dawson's Creek did very well with the younger demographic it targeted and became a defining show for the WB Network. (The first season's highest ranked episode was the finale, which was fifty-ninth, while the second highest rated was the second episode, scoring so well only because there was no programming on the other networks, which were carrying President Clinton's State of the Union address in the midst of the Lewinsky scandal.)

The show endured phenomenal success in Australia where it rated number one in its timeslot for every episode covering seasons one to four. Its incredible support extended out into the music industry too when "Songs From Dawson's Creek", released in 1999 on Sony Music, reached #1 on the Australian Album Chart. It remained in the top spot for six weeks and was certified 3x Platinum; inevitably, it was the fifth highest selling album of the year. This was followed in 2001 when "Songs From Dawson's Creek — Volume 2" was released. Debuting at #1, the show's second soundtrack went on to achieve platinum status and was praised by critics and fans alike.

Just Beginning to Make a Scrapbook? These tips might help.

A photo album just shows you the photos but a scrapbook tells the story.
A scrapbook can contain photos, mementos, notes about the event and by the page's
look and feel, it can depict a 'mood'.

What's the Best Way to Organize Photos? If you have a lot of older photos you'd like to make into scrapbooks:
Start by organizing your photos:

Do you have drawers or boxes of photos to organize or to remove from old 'magnetic' albums?
It might be best for you to divide the photos into themes rather than try to go back and
make chronological scrapbooks covering years and years.
Good organizational themes are:
All our Christmases
All our Vacations
All our Moves
Family Reunions

Making a scrapbook of each theme is a good idea because you can put them together fairly rapidly--each page doesn't need to be totally unique, in fact you want continuity. It will save you time and money using the same colors of background paper, for instance, and maybe for Christmas alternate red and green backgrounds to depict changing years.
Do a 'cover page' for each year or event and keep it simple and bold--maybe one photo and the date and location. If all your 'cover pages' are similarly styled, there will be a nice continuity throughout.

Themed books are easy and enjoyable to look at and they show how children grow and styles and
fashions change over the years. Even visitors to your home will enjoy flipping thru albums of this
type whereas they would get bogged down on a chronological album showing all the minute details of life.
You can have color copies of your themed scrapbooks made so you can give each child his/her own copy.

Do you have a new baby, child or business you'd like to start a scrapbook for?

It is fun to look back and see how a business or hobby grows over the years.
Adding lots of text or 'journaling' as it is called in scrapbook circles really adds to the fun & meaning later.

It is a good idea to start a scrapbook for each young child so you can pass it on to them
and let them continue it themselves when they are old enough.

What Kind of Scrapbook Should I use?
Although there are all sorts of scrapbooks in various sizes on the market, things in the general seem to
have settled into two 'camps', the 12 x 12 inch books, and the 8 1/2 x 11 inch format. Official scrapbooking
paper comes in those two sizes. I find that everything in the 12 x 12 format is a good bit more expensive. It is true
that you can easily get more photos on this larger page size, but to me the disadvantages
outweigh the advantages.

The 8 x 11 inch format works best for me because:

*My inkjet printer prints in that size.
*I can use common 3 ring binders while my pages are 'in progress'
*I can put my pages in a post type binder and I can do a double
layout because the pages are close together and work easily as one
layout, so I can get a lot of photos on that way.
*There are scads of inexpensive products available in the 8 1/2 x 11 format
that I can use from office supply, school supply, and art supply stores.

If you use a 3 ring binder, your pages will have the rings and alot of space between
them, but it is a good binder to help arrange and work on your pages before you put them in a post type binder.

I never use the spiral non-removable page scrapbook. For one thing, you can not add additional pages
and you can't re-arrange your pages. I make too many changes for this type of scrapbook. Some people
must like them as they are still on the market.

What is all the ACID FREE, ARCHIVAL buzz about?

The acid present in certain papers will cause the paper to break down & get brittle
and can cause deterioration of your photos touching the paper. I'm sure you have seen the
old timey black paged scrapbook whose pages have turned powdery and brittle and crack
when you turn the page. This is what you want to avoid. It just makes sense to choose
products that will last rather than ones you know won't.
That said, I will now say that in light of the fact that nothing on this earth lasts FOREVER (except the Word of God), I am not a fanatic about worrying if every little sticker or ticket stub is archival. We all have examples of scraps of paper and mementos that are way old and cause no problems and hang in there pretty well. Use your own judgment about deciding what products to use, keeping in mind that some companies are fanatical about this issue, but they also are the ones who want you to buy THEIR archival products.

What is all this talk of CROPPING?

Cropping a photo is simply cutting off the boring, messy, or distracting parts of a photo. Generally photos look best with straight sides and clean edges, like a square or rectangle. There are times when an oval or a circle shape is a great choice. You can also cut along the edges of an object or person and remove the background altogether. Or cut a portion of the object out leaving the rest of the photo intact. This can result in sort of a jack-in-the-box effect. It really is important to use a tool to help you cut your straight sided photos in perfect 90 degree angles. There are numerous small inexpensive paper cutters to do this job. Cutting a photo with fancy edged scissors is usually not a great idea. It looks best to cut the photo with smooth edges and use the fancy scissors on a colored paper mat around the photo.

Why MAT the photos?

By having a narrow edge of colored paper around the outside edges of your photos, you can 'bring out' a certain color in the photo. This enhances the visual impact of the photo. You can use more than one color mat at a time. You can also off-set a mat in creative ways. Lots of people cut the mat with fancy scissors to give a distinctive cut edge that ties in with the over all design of the page. To me the simplest way is to glue the photo to the backing paper and just trim around the photo freehand leaving about 1/8 inch of paper all around. With a little practice you can do this quickly. If it is a big photo, I might put glue around the outside edges of the photo and cut out the middle of the mat to save or use elsewhere on the scrapbook page. Sam's Club and similar stores sell huge packages of acid-free construction paper for cheap that are bright colors and handy for matting photos.

What about PAGE PROTECTORS?
Generally it is a good idea to slide your finished pages into page protectors in your scrapbook.
You can get archival ones for a great price at Sam's Club, etc. I like the crystal clear ones alot better than the non-glare ones. Since your pages will be constructed of various cut papers and attached photos, etc, I find I can use a lot less glue when I know the page will be in a plastic protector in the scrapbook.

What about GLUE?
There are all sorts of special glues on the market. You can spend a lot on fancy adhesives. I like plain old acid-free twist up glue sticks. They are cheap and I can buy them by the dozen at Sam's Club or office supply places. Occasionally I will use a small glue applicator like the ones Fiskers makes when I am gluing cut out letters or very small items. Just don't use rubber cement. It turns brown over time. You just want to use a glue that will not cause your paper to buckle, so you want a glue with no water in it.

Now, I do want to add that in climates with very high humidity I'd not use the twist up glue sticks. Recently I had a crafts project where I used this type of glue on the Gulf Coast which has almost 100% humidity most of the time--and the glue turned gummy and let go--even though it was months after the project was completed. So in areas of high humidity, I'd use the Zig glue pen with is more of a rubber cement type of glue but is made for scrapbooking.

Alcanzar una estrella es una telenovela mexicana producida por la empresa Televisa, exhibida por primera vez en 1990, en la que participan, entre otros, el cantautor guatemalteco Ricardo Arjona.
Trama
Lorena Caetano (Mariana Garza) está enamorada platónicamente de Eduardo Casablanca (Eduardo Capetillo), quien es un famoso actor y cantante; lo conoce en un cóctel de presentación de su último disco y su primer estelar de telenovela.

Tiempo después, Lorena y Norma (Ana Silvia Garza), su madre, van de vacaciones a Ixtapa, donde por coincidencia Eduardo Casablanca está grabando algunas secuencias de la telenovela que protagoniza.

La ilusión y la fantasía de la joven enamorada, la conducen a inventar una relación amorosa con Eduardo, que es seguida con interés por sus compañeras, que igual a ella, son grandes admiradoras del actor y cantante.

Cuando Lorena es descubierta, cae en una depresión que la hace perder todo interés en la vida, a pesar de los esfuerzos de Norma, su madre y Aurora (Angélica Ruvalcaba), su mejor amiga.

Eduardo Casablanca intuye la gran sensibilidad de una amiga secreta que le envía cartas anónimas, confesándole un hermoso sentimiento sin planearlo, tiene un reencuentro con Lorena y la besa llevado por un impulso que no entiende.

Lorena es descubierta por Joaquín (Daniel Martín), el representante de Eduardo y comienza una exitosa carrera artística que es vista muy de cerca por Déborah Duvale (Kenia Gascón) y Roque Escamilla (Oscar Traven) quienes están empeñados en destruir su vida artística y su relación con el cantante.

Según la propia Mariana Garza, el tema de "Alcanzar una Estrella" fue escrito por Luis de Llano y la Música por Gerardo García. Ver en 0:55 y 2:28. [1]
En esta novela se utilizó como musica de fondo de enlace entre algunas escenas y de vuelta de los comerciales algunos temas del Grupo Asia (Wetton-Downnes-Palmer-Howe), especificamente provenientes de su disco Then and Now, de 1990. entre los temas utilizados estaba la canción "Am I in Love?"

es una telenovela mexicana producida por Televisa y exhibida en 1991. Es la secuela de Alcanzar una estrella, que obtuvo gran éxito en 1990. Ambas pertenecen al género juvenil y rompieron esquemas en lo que eran los argumentos típicos de una telenovela ya que por primera vez se introdujo la música como elemento de gran importancia en la trama. Las dos fueron producidas por Luis de Llano, especializado en telenovelas de género juvenil y producciones musicales.

El grupo que surgió de la novela se llamó Muñecos de papel y estaba integrado por los seis protagonistas. Figuras con amplia trayectoria como Ricky Martin (ex-integrante del exitoso grupo juvenil Menudo, Pedro Fernández con una trayectoria de más de 10 años grabando discos de música ranchera mexicana y presentaciones en vivo con más de 8 películas, también la juvenil actriz Angélica Rivera, Bibi Gaytan y Sasha Sokol con la experiencia de haber pertenecido a la agrupación juvenil vocal timbiriche. Los Muñecos presentaron su disco en concierto en una gira por México y varios países de Latinoamérica con gran éxito.
Trama
Eduardo Casablanca (Eduardo Capetillo) decide realizar una convocatoria para conformar un grupo de pop, sin embargo tiene que salir a Europa de último momento para alcanzar a su novia Lorena (Mariana Garza) que se encuentra de gira. Así que el grupo se forma con integrantes nuevos y lleva el nombre de Muñecos de Papel.

Jessica (Sasha Sokol), Silvana (Angélica Rivera), Marimar (Bibi Gaytán), Pablo (Ricky Martin), Miguel Ángel (Erick Rubín) y Jorge (Pedro Fernández) le dan vida a un popular grupo de música que se vuelve un éxito en todo el país. Varias historias de amor se desenvuelven dentro del grupo.

Jessica y Pablo se enamoran y luchan por conservar su relación debido a que Gabriel Loredo (Eduardo Palomo), hermano de Pablo quiere a toda costa quedarse con el amor de Jessica.

Marimar sufre por la represión de su madre que siempre quiso ser una estrella y la controla a su modo hasta prohibir su amor con Jorge, un muchacho de bajos recursos económicos que da la vida por Marimar.

Silvana se debate en el mundo de las apariencias por robar cámara y convertirse algún día en solista y abandonar al grupo que le dio la gran oportunidad de triunfar cuando se entera que su padre es un importante productor musical.

Miguel Ángel lucha entre la vida y la muerte por una enfermedad que termina por mostrarle que los excesos muchas veces conducen a resultados fatales.

Antagonizada por el primer actor Julio Alemán y Margarita Magaña . Es un remake de otra telenovela mexicana producida también por Emilio Larrosa en el año 1986, llamada El camino secreto.

Argumento
Esta es una emocionante historia de amor, intrigas y secretos que gira en torno a dos parejas.

La primera es la de David Genovés y Gabriela Guillén, una muchacha buena e inteligente que trabaja como mesera en el restaurante que David administra y es propiedad de su padre, Mario Genovés.

La segunda pareja es la de Juan José, quien pasó 11 años en prisión por un crimen que no cometió, y Alejandra, una joven arquitecta cuya clase social está muy por encima de la de Juan José, pero él la amó a primera vista y luchará por ganar su corazón.

Cuando Gabriela y su hermana Julieta entran a trabajar en el restaurante, David se siente atraído de inmediato por ella, y no sólo él; también Carlos, su socio, que queda impresionado por la belleza de Gabriela.

Entre ellos surge una gran rivalidad por conquistarla, pero a pesar de que Gabriela está enamorada de David, entre ellos surgen múltiples conflictos y ella duda de su sinceridad, más aun cuando aparece en su vida Leonardo, un comandante de la policía que se vuelve su protector, pero quien tiene que ocultar el amor que siente por ella.

Pasará mucho tiempo antes de que ella acepte que en realidad ama a David y que él es sincero; sin embargo, su relación será difícil y conflictiva debido a las intrigas de Carlos y el carácter celoso de David.

Gabriela ignora que su padre, Fausto, y Mario Genovés, se conocieron hace muchos años y comparten un secreto terrible y doloroso.

Ahora, el reencuentro de estos dos hombres coincide con una gran tragedia: Mario se entera de que tiene un tumor inoperable y le queda poco tiempo de vida.

Para proteger la herencia de su hijo, sabiendo que su socio Adolfo es un individuo sin escrúpulos que se apoderaría de su fortuna, Mario convence a Fausto de disfrazarse y tomar su lugar ante todos hasta que termine el plazo de su sociedad con Adolfo.

Para ello, construye un túnel secreto que comunica su mansión con la casa contigua, que está abandonada. Ahí, Fausto tendrá su taller de maquillaje para poder suplantar a Mario.

¿Y Alejandra y Juan José? Pues ella compartirá el secreto de su tío Mario y se encargará de la construcción del túnel, y Juan José se verá de pronto heredero de una fabulosa fortuna que le permitirá no sólo luchar por el amor de Alejandra, sino unirse a Mario y Fausto en su audaz plan, ya que él también tiene una cuenta pendiente con el malvado Adolfo.

De igual modo, el Comandante Leonardo Faidella tendrá una importante acción al investigar y descubrir los negocios ilícitos de Adolfo. El enfrentamiento que tendrá con él será pieza fundamental en el desenlace final de esta emocionante y romántica historia en la que hay muchas verdades por descubrir.

Dieta Macrobiotica

Sus seguidores aseguran que el principal factor para combatir cualquier enfermedad es la alimentación que nutre al organismo y mente, ya que consideran inútil recurrir a antídoto, sea alopático, homeopático o naturista, si no se dejan de consumir "venenos" (grasas saturadas, gran cantidad de azúcar y sal, tabaco, alcohol y drogas).

Por lo anterior, se estipula que la macrobiótica se practica a partir de disciplina que tiene como objetivo proporcionar los medios para liberarse de malos hábitos, vicios y condicionamientos alimentarios impuestos por una sociedad altamente consumista.

Asimismo, de acuerdo con los fundamentos de este régimen, es necesario estar en armonía con la naturaleza, por lo que la elección de los alimentos debe realizarse en función de cada estación del año, clima y estado de salud.

La dieta macrobiótica es una forma extrema del vegetarianismo combinada con ideas derivadas de la filosofía Zen budista que ha encontrado gran aceptación entre los creyentes en la alimentación natural y los alimentos "biológicos", así como entre muchos descontentos con el orden social establecido y la moderna industria alimentaria. Sus partidarios atraviesan diez niveles de restricción dietética hasta que se alimentan sólo de cereales.

La dieta macrobiótica se basa, principalmente, en la ingesta de cereales integrales, como arroz, cebada, maíz y trigo, los cuales se pueden comer hervidos, guisados, en sopa, tartas o croquetas. También es fundamental agregar a la dieta frutas y verduras, y para obtener las proteínas de origen animal que el organismo requiere se aconseja combinar los alimentos antes citados con carne magra (sin grasa) de vacuno, así como pollo y pescado sin piel.

Asimismo, dicho régimen recomienda disminuir la ingesta de productos lácteos, los cuales deberán sustituirse por vegetales de hoja verde, ya que contienen gran cantidad de vitaminas A y C, calcio, potasio, ácido fólico y hierro, lo que evita la deficiencia de nutrientes. Cabe destacar que hay quienes dicen que esta dieta es prohibitiva y puede llevar a sus seguidores a padecer desnutrición, pero en realidad permite comer todos los alimentos, la clave está en elegir los de mejor calidad equilibrando las cantidades.

Equilibrio entre alimentos ying y yang
Clasifica a los alimentos en dos categorías: ying (alimentos pasivos) y yang (alimentos activos). Debe existir un equilibrio entre alimentos ying y yang para lograr la salud y el bienestar físico y mental. Para ellos, algunos alimentos ying son: la carpa, las almejas, la sandía, las patatas, las ciruelas, el azúcar, la miel o el ajo. La carne de caballo, los huevos de gallina y de pato, el cerdo y el caviar son yang. Los cereales, hortalizas y verduras ofrecen el mejor equilibrio entre el ying y el yang. Dentro de los nutrientes, la mayoría de las vitaminas del grupo B y la vitamina C son ying mientras que las liposolubles (A, D, E y K) y la B6 son yang. Estas clasificaciones carecen de sentido alguno desde el punto de vista científico.

El sistema macrobiótico consiste en una serie de diez dietas que se numeran de -3 a +7. Las cinco primeras (-3 a +2) incluyen cantidades decrecientes de alimentos de origen animal, son prácticamente dietas vegetarianas. Las restantes son exclusivamente vegetarianas y contienen cantidades crecientes de granos de trigo hasta llegar a la dieta 7 que se compone exclusivamente de granos de cereales triturados.

Problemas de deshidratación
Este sistema aconseja una limitación en el agua de bebida, lo que puede conducir a graves problemas de deshidratación según se puso de relieve en una publicación originada, precisamente, para salir al paso de las dietas que recomendaban una restricción del agua de bebida (Grande-Covián, 1993). Otras ideas infundadas de este doctrina es que el organismo es capaz de llevar a cabo la transmutación de elementos químicos mediante la cual, por ejemplo, se puede producir potasio a partir de sodio y oxígeno, lo que es del todo inviable.

Su uso como dieta adelgazante
Según sus seguidores no hay enfermedad que no pueda curarse empleando alimentos "naturales" y restringiendo el agua de bebida, y ninguna enfermedad es más fácil de curar que el cáncer mediante el empleo de la dieta macrobiótica, especialmente la de grado 7, es decir, la compuesta únicamente por cereales. También se aconseja su uso como dieta adelgazante.

Una dieta macrobiótica típica estaría compuesta por:
50-60% de gramos de cereales.
20-25& de vegetales.
5-10% de legumbres.
5% de sopas.

Proporciones variables de algas marinas.
Se evita todo tipo de carnes, leche o productos lácteos, y suele ser raro entre sus seguidores el consumo de suplementos vitamínicos (Kushi & Jack, 1987) por lo que suelen aparecer graves carencias nutricionales.
Así, el consumo de una dieta macrobiótica puede conducir a una deficiencia proteica, cuanti y cualitativa (aporte de proteínas de baja calidad) y a una importante carencia en vitamina B12, C y de vitaminas liposolubles (A y D). Además, posee un bajo contenido en calcio y hierro cuya absorción está dificultada por la presencia de filatos. Entre las deficiencias nutritivas detectadas por los consumidores de dicha dieta destacan la anemia, escorbuto, hipocalcemia e hipoproteinemia. Como ya se ha comentado, la limitación del agua de bebida aconsejada por el sistema macrobiótico es otro grave peligro. No es de extrañar, por tanto, que algunos de sus seguidores recomienden olvidarse de todo lo que se sabe de nutrición".

Aunque la dieta macrobiótica es una dieta antigua, ha sido considerada como un grave riesgo para la salud de la población (Gran Jurado del Estado de Nueva Jersey, 1966), conociéndose casos de muerte entre sus seguidores. En la actualidad vuelve a resurgir e incluso revistas de divulgación femenina la han presentado como una verdadera panacea.

La dieta macrobiótica divide a los alimentos en dos tipos:

Alimentos Ying
Son los alimentos que se deben consumir escasamente, pues su energía es debilitante: azúcar, miel, bebidas alcohólicas, frutas tropicales como el plátano, mango, kiwi, papaya, piña, sandía, ciruela, verduras como las papas, berenjena, tomate, ajo y remolacha, lácteos, pan blanco, embutidos, carne, huevos, almejas, vitamina C, especias, alimentos procesados, conservas, colorantes o ingredientes químicos.

Alimentos Yang
Son los alimentos necesarios, pues su energía es tonificante: cereales (trigo, centeno, maíz, cebada, mijo, avena), legumbres, algas marinas, ocasionalmente pescado, vitaminas A, B6, D, E y K, y vegetales cultivados sin pesticidas, en huertos caseros, lo cual ha encontrado gran aceptación entre los rivales de la industria alimentaria. Es muy importante preparar los alimentos al vapor y se debe cocinar con sal marina no yodatada.

Galletas de arroz con puré de sésamo o paté vegetal

Una sopa de mijo o de verduras con algas y salsa de soya
Un plato combinado de arroz integral hervido con alga kombu y proteína vegetal (legumbres, seitan o gluten de trigo, tofu o queso de soya, tempeh o soya fermentada)
Un poco de manzana cocida, o cereales (sémola de maíz o de trigo) con gelatina de fruta hecha con alga agar-agar
Una taza de té bancha

Merienda
Un té
Galletas de arroz con mermelada o paté vegetal

Cena
Una sopa de verduras con shiitake (hongo japonés) y daikon (especie de nabo)
Verduras al vapor
Arroz o un poco de pescado

Cuidado con los inconvenientes

Tomar tan pocas proteínas te puede llevar a un riesgo de sufrir anemia y desnutrición. Con esta alimentación se han detectado casos de escorbuto y déficit de calcio. Además, como se restringe el beber agua, se pueden sufrir problemas de deshidratación o insuficiencia renal.

Como habrás notado, muchos de los alimentos son difíciles de conseguir por ser de origen japonés (mijo, soya, algas, tempeh, tofu, etc.). Y tal vez te incomode que al no comer muchos alimentos, puedas limitar tu vida social y familiar y termines rodeándote de puros amigos macrobióticos.

No es conveniente llevar a cabo esta dieta sin ningún tipo de control médico, pues como evita el consumo de suplementos vitamínicos, su bajo contenido de calcio y hierro, los principales aliados de la mujer, puede ocasionarte deficiencias nutritivas.

Si te decides a probar esta dieta, es importante hacerte periódicamente un examen médico para tener bajo control tus niveles de hierro y vitamina B12.

(literally, Huancayo style potatoes) is a Peruvian salad of boiled yellow potatoes (similar to the Yukon Gold potatoes) in a spicy, creamy sauce called Huancaína sauce. It is typically served cold as a starter over lettuce leaves and garnished with black olives, white corn kernels and hard boiled egg quarters.

The sauce is made of fresh white cheese (similar to farmers cheese), vegetable oil, aji amarillo (yellow Peruvian pepper), evaporated milk and salt mixed in a blender. Some recipes call for garlic, onion and crushed saltines.

In the south of Peru (Cuzco, Puno, Arequipa) it is served with ocopa rather than Huancaína sauce, made from freshly toasted peanuts, fried onions and tomatoes, aji amarillo, cream or condensed milk, crushed crackers or dried bread, salt, and huacatay (Tagetes minuta).

Because it is served cold Papa a la Huancaina is a favorite food of Peruvians to take on picnics and trips.

Aji de Gallina

Ají de Gallina (Spanish for chili pepper chicken) is a traditional Peruvian dish which has its roots in the social upheaval of the French Revolution in 1789.

Chefs working for wealthy families lost their jobs after French aristocrats were imprisoned and executed. Some of these chefs travelled to the New World, including Peru, bringing with them French culinary expertise. Wealthy Peruvian creole families hired them to demonstrate their wealth to the ruling Spaniards. The fusion of local cuisines with French cooking traditions led to many new recipes, including ají de gallina.

This is a shredded chicken dish in a spicy sauce flavored with cheese, garlic, nuts and Peruvian chili peppers.Peruvians love eating this dish on cold days.

Ingredients
1300g (4 lb) chicken
120ml (1/2 cup) of olive oil
1 large finely chopped onion
8 cloves of minced garlic
3 hot yellow South American chilis (seeds removed): Adjust quantity for individual taste.
Salt and pepper to taste
1 chicken stock cube
¼ loaf of bread
110g (¼ lb) of chopped pecans
110g (4 ounces) grated Parmesan cheese
1 can evaporated milk
1.6 kg (3.5 lbs) boiled rice
4 hard boiled eggs
6 potatoes
120g (1/2 cup) black olives

1.Boil chicken in salted water together with the stock cube. Remove bones and break into bite size pieces, keeping the resulting chicken stock.
2.In a saucepan, heat oil and sauté the onion, garlic, and finely chopped chili peppers and add salt and pepper. Fry this until the onions are cooked and golden.
3.Soak the bread in two cups of the stock from the boiled chicken and place in a blender for a couple of minutes and then add the resulting liquid to the saucepan.
4.Cook slowly for ten minutes. Cook slowly, stirring to thicken.
5.Add the chopped pecans, grated cheese, and chicken pieces. Cook until it has a thick creamy texture. About five minutes before serving, add the evaporated milk and continue cooking on low heat.
6.Serve over the boiled rice and garnish with halved potatoes, eggs quartered lengthwise, and olives.

Llevar una habitación con orden y pulcritud parece una labor imposible para todo adolescente, sobre todo porque después de que ha quedado lista, al día siguiente el caos regresa.

Comúnmente, cuando ordenamos las habitaciones solemos colocar las cosas en función a los espacios con los que contamos y no por orden de funcionalidad.

Por ello te proponemos unas pautas para organizar tu habitación, de tal modo que puedas mantener un orden adecuado que te permita limpiarlo sin problemas y te ayude a estar más ordenado con tus cosas.

A modo de organizar las cosas que usas, separa primero qué prendas son las que más usas y mantenlas aparte para que puedas colocarlas en un lugar más accesible y fácil de ordenar.

Después, organiza tu ropa con prendas que no suelas ponerte mucho y guárdalas; dependiendo de lo que sean, puedes colocarlas dobladas en el fondo de los cajones o colgarlas en los percheros del ropero.

Es importante que algunas de las prendas las empaques en bolsas especiales, pues ello te evitará el polvo; asimismo, tus zapatos y zapatillas deben organizarse en el mismo modo. Por ejemplo, calzado para fiestas en cajas al fondo del ropero, mientras que el calzado de diario debe estar a la vista.

Es una buena idea que aparte de tu armario o cómoda cuentes con un perchero en dónde colgar tus casacas, bufandas o gorras de uso diario; así como con un tacho para colocar las prendas para lavar.

Respecto al escritorio, es necesario que priorices cuáles son los cursos que debes repasar y en cuáles tienes deberes. Luego de ello, coloca en la parte más alta los libros y cuadernos que no necesitarás inmediatamente, y los demás a la mano.

Es una buena idea contar con una pizarra acrílica o un corcho para colocar ahí todos los pendientes que tengas, incluyendo las tareas domésticas. Esto te ayudará en caso debas leer libros y avanzar monografías.

He was born in Bogota, raised in Spain. Began acting studies in Bogota with Edgardo Roman and then continued formation in New York at the Lee Starsberg Institute. His first play was Cronica de una muerte anunciada in 2000, directed by Jorge Ali Triana.

He was born in Colombia but upon his parents' divorce, he was raised in Spain by his Argentinian father. There, he took his Baccalaureate & started studying Advertisement but soon decided this was not what he wanted in life. He left his studies uncompleted & went to live to Argentina.

In Argentina, he had many different jobs, but nothing satisfied him until he read the book "The Alchemist" which helped him realize that the only alternative he had, was simply to follow his heart.

Later, he returned to Colombia and worked as a model. Always energetic and wishing for something better, he brought his curriculum in the Colombian TV channel Caracol, in an effort to work there as an animator. The test they made him did not succeed. However, they saw interest in him as an actor and suggested him to take acting lessons. Juan Pablo had never thought of being an actor & initially rejected the idea.

Not long after, while accompanying a friend in an acting course, as her couple, the well known Colombian professor Edgardo Roman detected his talent& encouraged him to be an actor. Encouraged by the great professor's good opinion & upon thinking it a lot, he decided to go for an audition. It was in this first audition, that he understood that acting was what he wanted to do in his life. He was now ready to leave behind all his previous uncertainties in life, his doubts and his worries and pursue with strength & persistence his acting career. From this point, the only way in Juan Pablo's life was a monodrome. He had a unique mix of acting talent good looks, luck and fate, all worked in his favor. By then he was 21 years old. It was 1998.

Two months after his first audition, Caracol channel asked him to co-star in the teleseries titled : AMOR EN FORMA, while a few months later, he was asked to star in the famous Colombian telenovela, titled: POR QUE DIABLOS? but missed this great opportunity for reasons that made him quite unhappy this period. In 1999, he played a small part in the tvseries MARIDO Y MUJER.

Immediately after, he took the leading part in the tvseries, LA REINA DE QUEENS. Parallel to this, Juan Pablo tried his powers in the theatrical play THE CRONICLE OF A DEATH FORETOLD written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Both projects were very exigent & demanded his devotion, much time & many sacrifices which he readily did. By then he was 23 years old. It was 2000.

Other Latino countries show interest in him & very soon he received an offer from the Venezuelan channel RCTV, to co-star next to Catherine Correira in the telenovela VIVA LA PEPA (2001). He accepted & this was the best & the wisest decision he could take, because his participation in this telenovela brought him another offer to play in La Niña De Mis Ojos next to the fascinating actress Natalia Streignard. They made a wonderful couple together. Together, they played in the telenovela that was meant to be the turning point for the career of both & the launching of Juan Pablo's international career. In Mi Gorda Bella, Juan Pablo plays the handsome & irresistible Orestes Villanueva Mercuri who falls in love with the fat & good hearted Valentina. By then he was 25 years old. It was 2002.

In 2002, he met Colombian journalist Paula Quinteros, whom he married on December 6, 2003 in in a barefoot Celtic ceremony in Los Roques, Venezuela.[1][2]

His successful course continued in 2004, when he filmed for RCTV the TV series ESTRAMBOTICA ANASTASIA. The leading lady part was played by the beautiful Venezuelan actress Norkys Batista.

In 2005, he returned to Colombia and filmed for the channel Caracol, the TVseries POR AMOR A GLORIA, next to Carolina Acevedo. His plans for 2006 included his participation in the movie : UNA ABUELA VIRGEN & the main part in the TV Film SOLTERA Y SIN COMPROMISO.

In 2006, he and journalist wife Paula announced their separation, which subsequently resulted in their divorce in 2007. In 2007, he dated Venezuelan soap star Marjorie de Sousa, a relationship which lasted over a year.

No se trata de una canción de Isabel Pantoja, sino que este espantoso título con el que tengo que titular el post de hoy se trata de la nueva telenovela de Carlos Moreno basada en la telenovela La Mentira.

Cada vez nuestra Televisa se supera en poner títulos, pero es que, este, este ya es para nota, lo mejor es lo de los puntos suspensivos. Ay que dolor de ojos cuando miro mi pobre titular.

Pues nada si el título es malo la pareja protagonista nos deja la boca abierta y nos entra un avispero entero, aunque tampoco ya nos sorprendemos mucho porque ya sabíamos de la pareja protagonista Juan Soler ( muy envejecido y que parece un muñeco de cera) y Silvia Navarro, que dizque quieren emular a Kate del Castillo y Guy Ecker. Que chistosos.

Bueno, lo mejor todo ya sabéis es el comunicado de prensa , desde aqui con mucho cariño a Moises que nos los envia todo amoroso el, muchisimas gracias nos encanta recibirlos y no te tomes a mal los comments.

La pareja protagónica y demás elenco, junto con el equipo de producción, se reunió en el foro 10 de Televisa San Ángel para arrancar oficialmente con las grabaciones de este melodrama, mismo que hace doce años protagonizó el actor Guy Ecker junto a Kate del Castillo. Ecker fue el encargado de apadrinar a la producción y ceder la estafeta a Juan Soler como galán de la exitosa historia.
¿Y nuestro adorado Ecker se ha prestado a eso?, pues viéndolo en la foto no queda mal para que vuelva hacer el remake … otras y porque no lo hacen otra vez los mismos .. en plan 10 años después … y nos dejamos de historias

Pues que bien no veo el momento de ver la promo y sufrir viendo a Juan Soler como se ahoga. ¿Renata y Jerónimo? pero que nombres para la pareja protagonista parecen los muñecos de un ventriloquo

Cuando me enamoro… se detiene el tiempo iniciará transmisiones el 05 de julio en el horario de las 19:00 horas, por el Canal de las Estrellas. Empieza en julio todavía no estaré de vacaciones y como el trabajo es el trabajo debere cumplir y hablar sobre ella … bueno venga es por vosotros eh!!!
